Category & Origin

Vermouth de Marseille, crafted in Provence. This designation follows the great tradition of French vermouths, heir to an ancestral Mediterranean savoir-faire. Produced by Maison Borély, a Marseille reference for aromatised spirits.

Production & Method

This vermouth is crafted from a base of selected white wines, aromatised through maceration of carefully chosen herbs, botanicals and spices. The dry recipe favours aromatic finesse and low sugar content, respecting the traditional method of dry vermouth production.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, this vermouth reveals delicate floral notes accompanied by nuances of aromatic herbs and citrus. On the palate, the attack is fresh and lively, with beautiful aromatic complexity where Mediterranean botanicals mingle with subtle bitterness. The finish is clean, elegant and persistent, characteristic of fine dry vermouths.

Serving

Serve well chilled, between 6 and 8°C, neat over ice with a citrus slice or in cocktails. It makes the ideal base for a Dry Martini or Reverse Martini. Keep refrigerated after opening and consume within the following months to preserve its aromas.
